East Bay Housing Organizations is an affordable housing advocacy organization with over 400 members in the East Bay. Think of our membership as a consortium of East Bay residents and organizations dedicated to affordable housing — nonprofit developers, local governments, community land trusts, tenants unions, homelessness advocates, and dozens of individuals interested in creating a just East Bay.

As a membership-based organization, EBHO relies on your input and expertise to plan and prioritize campaigns to advocate for affordable housing at the local, regional, and state levels. By joining EBHO as an organization, your organization — including your staff, members, or other representatives — is invited to join our committee meetings, where you can learn from and collaborate with other housing justice advocates and vote on our priority campaigns. You will gain access to a broad and diverse network of hundreds of housing justice advocates, EBHO staff, and the 40 years of institutional knowledge our members and staff have built since EBHO's founding in 1984. Your organization will also be listed on our website will also be kept in the loop about movement news and events.

Organizational Membership Levels

$75 – $100 : “Small but Mighty” (congregations, resident council, or grassroots organizations)

$250 - $499: Small Organization (< $200,000)

$500 - $999: Medium Organization ($200,000–$500,000)

$1,000 - $1,999: Large Organization ($500,000+)

$2,000+: Very Large Organization ($2,000,000+)
